You can get to Nida by ferry from Klaipėda. You must take a ferry to Smiltynė from Klaipėda:

New Ferry Terminal, Nemuno str.8, Klaipėda, Lithuania.

It's important to check the timetable for the last and the first ferry from Smiltynė, if you're not staying in Nida. The last one from Smiltynė in summer is 02:20 and the first one is 05:20 in the morning.

From the ferry, Smiltynė to Nida, it is ~47km and takes ~50 min.

1. Nida is a charming coastal town nestled on the spectacular Curonian Spit. Nida is the biggest of the five towns on the Curonian Spit. Nida is a very seasonal town, so places to stay get fully booked in advance. If you decide to stay in Nida, you must book early.
